Where in the Rhodopes do you come from?
I grew up on the Bulgarian side of the Rhodopes, near the Greek border. Old ridges and beech forest. Villages with damp stone and woodsmoke. My people lived in that valley for generations. This is the place I mean when I speak about home, even though I have lived elsewhere for a long time.
I moved to Muntenia, southern Romania, in my thirties. Twenty years here now. Flat country, river country. Different from the mountains. Both places remain part of how I pay attention. I do not need to invent a dramatic journey between them. The life and the learning were ordinary life to the people living it.
How did you learn from the women in your family?
My mother's line carries this practice. In the Baică line, a woman who knows sits with a woman learning. She shows her, corrects her, makes her pay attention. You watch and practise. The learning is not finished because you have remembered a name or bought a deck of cards.
I have been doing this work for more than twenty years. I have been wrong also. Sometimes a reading comes clearly and sometimes it does not. I say which. A family tradition does not make a person incapable of error. I will not use my background as a reason you must accept everything I say.
What are descântece in your practice?
Descântece are spoken charms within the practice I learned. We remember words rather than writing them down. Each woman carries the words a little differently. This is oral learning, with attention to how the work is done. It is not a collection of impressive sounds placed around an ordinary request.
I can describe the place of spoken words without presenting a charm as a medical treatment or a guaranteed way to change events. Historical folk practice and what I can honestly offer you now must be kept clear. You do not receive a promise of healing, money or a legal result because a tradition is old.
What does drabardi mean in your tradition?
Drabardi means a Roma woman who reads, sees and tells what she finds. The word comes from drab, used around herbs, medicine and poison. That background belongs to how I speak about the practice. It does not mean I diagnose a condition or replace somebody qualified to care for it.
The cards are one part of what I do. I read Tarot de Marseille, with three cards as my standard spread. I look at how cards sit together and the question you brought. My tarot reading page explains the written reading and the larger spreads. A larger order does not buy greater certainty.
What does being a Roma witch mean here?
It means this is my practice and my background. Candle work, cleansing, protection, spoken charms, readings and work with the dead sit in that territory. It does not mean all Roma families work alike or that I speak for every tradition. My own line is what I can talk about directly.
No film witch here. I do not need a theatrical room or a frightening story to hear your request. My ritual material guides keep ordinary things ordinary. Salt can damage a surface. A candle has a real flame. Spiritual language does not remove the practical properties of what is being used.
Who may find your way of working suitable?
You may want a reader who says when something is unclear. You may want a private working and a plain written account. You may prefer email because you can put the question into words and read the answer when you have quiet. These are good reasons to consider whether my way suits you.
If you need a guaranteed prediction or a promise that another person will do what you want, this service cannot give it. If you want someone to say a curse explains everything, I cannot establish that for you. I want the request to remain connected with what can honestly be offered.
What do I send for a working with you?

Standard Spell Casting is €35. The work and account are delivered within 24 hours after payment and your notes. That is a promise about what I provide. It is not a promise that your situation changes in the same time. A person keeps their choice and practical matters still need practical attention.

What will you refuse regardless of tradition?
I do not do revenge work or work to harm somebody. I do not frighten people into returning for more payments. A bad week or strange feeling does not prove a curse. No family history gives me a reason to make claims about another person that I cannot know.

Where did Nadja learn Rhodope folk magic?
